| Role: Mechanical/Design Engineer Onsite at San Dimas, California Local Candidate Only $55 C2C Must Have: In-flight Entertainment System Design Experience, CATIA, CREO, 3D, 2D Job Description * Experience in Conceptual Design, Initial Assembly Models, Prototype Development and Pre-Qualification Support, pre-production and qualification support for IFE * projects such as Overhead Shroud, Overhead SVDU Monitor etc. * Conceptual Design - Design concepts and layout bracket and SVDU within AMOD. * Design concepts may include an insert surrounding the active area of the monitor depending on customer input. * Initial Assembly Models - Creation of models and drawings for fit check and prototype * Prototype Development and Pre-Qualification Support - Support development of prototype builds, fixtures for pre-qualification testing (thermal, vibration). Release of prototype drawings, BOMs, and models * Pre-Production (Red Label) and Qualification Support - Update and release production (red label) drawings, BOMs, and models.
