Title: Senior Data Warehouse Architect (hybrid) Duration: 12+ months Visa: OPEN Client Location: Sacramento, CA (relocation is fine) About the job Are you ready to embark on a transformative journey in the world of data architecture We are seeking a seasoned Oracle Data Warehouse Architect with expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and a specialization in Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADWC *This is a Greenfield Implemenation of Oracle ADWC (Oracle DW Cloud).* Key Responsibilities: Architectural Leadership: Design and implement cutting-edge data warehouse solutions leveraging Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse on OCI. Lead the development of scalable and efficient data models, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data architecture strategies aligned with business objectives. OCI: Harness the power of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to create robust and scalable data warehouse solutions. Utilize OCI services for data integration, storage, and processing, ensuring seamless and secure operations. Stay abreast of OCI advancements and incorporate emerging technologies into the data warehouse architecture. Autonomous Data Warehouse Cloud (ADWC): Drive the implementation and optimization of Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse features, ensuring maximum automation and efficiency. Fine-tune performance parameters, monitor resource utilization, and implement proactive measures for continuous improvement. Collaborative Problem Solving: Work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and other IT teams to understand data requirements and deliver innovative solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve complex data-related issues, providing expertise and guidance to ensure the stability and reliability of the data warehouse. Best Practices and Standards: Establish and enforce data warehouse best practices, standards, and guidelines to maintain a high level of data quality and integrity. Conduct regular assessments of the data architecture to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Qualifications: Proven experience as an Oracle Data Warehouse Architect with a focus on OCI and Autonomous Data Warehouse. In-depth knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services related to data management and analytics. Strong proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and data modeling. Experience with performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting in a data warehouse environment. Develops, tests, and implements scripts/jobs for data Extract Transform and Load (ETL) from data source(s) to target(s) in the data warehouse using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams.
