Job Description: Position : Data Engineer with a strong background in PL/SQL development and familiarity with Python scripting. Duration: 1yr (multi-year engagements) Location: 77002 (Downtown, Houston) Expectation : IMPORTANT They will have to take a PL/SQL assessment and talk to my Prime vendor before they submit them to the client. Candidates must have a LinkedIn profile, and verifiable references at most recent and likely the prior company as well. The references have to have LI profiles and WORK emails. We arent interested in friends vouching or claiming to be their manager. We will not call them or reach out..but we reserve the right to do so. Important notes to keep in mind. Absolute core skills that the candidates must have are strong PL/SQL with some Python experience to be considered. Do not worry about API, Kubernetes, and all that other stuff on the JD. People with predominantly healthcare, insurance, or financial services experience will not work. This is OIL AND GAS. Candidates need to be used to performing many tasks, in the weeds developing stored procedures, triggers, functions, and indexes from scratch as well as performance tuning for optimization or bug fixes.
