Client: Starbucks Title: UX Researcher Location: Remote Duration: 12 months Visa: No H1B/OPT MOI: Skype Our Seattle based Digital Retail Workplace partner is looking for an experienced and influential Sr. UX Researcher to help create great employee experiences at work and push our solutions to a new level. Required Skills - UX/UI Researcher CX Researcher Generative research Interviews, Diary Studies, Open Card Sort, Contextual Inquiry Ethnographic Research Competitive Analysis Job Duties - - Lead generative research to inform the product roadmap 6 months 2 years out - Partner closely with designers, product managers, and business partners in leading research that enables teams to make informed and confident decisions - Proactively collaborate with and advise product managers and stakeholders in research planning, execution, and communication - Plan, lead, and socialize research studies to help drive partner (employee) experiences with our technology - Own the development of research and insights for a product team that drives the way our product organization understands and designs for our store partners (employees) - Contribute to the prioritization of work and projects - Package insights into tools and assets for designers, product managers, and business stakeholders to leverage (e.g., frameworks, use cases, design recommendations) - Find creative and compelling ways to present and evangelize insights throughout the company, tailoring findings to suit the audience Job Requirements - At least 5-7+ years of relevant work experience Experience leading research on mobile applications and websites serving multiple user roles. Experience leading research on interconnected platforms and systems Experience with all aspects of the user research lifecycle (study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting, and communicating) Strong communication and storytelling skills Exceptional presentation skills (e.g., time management, engaging the audience, polish & relevancy of info shared). In this role, the UXR will need to address audiences at varying levels, and keep them engaged Experience working in close partnership with designers, product managers, and engineers Knows when quant research is needed Solid understanding of wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps Proficient in Figma or other visual tools You are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently and effectively with cross-functional teams Positive attitude, collaborative spirit and openness to giving and receiving feedback A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), user research, user testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability, and accessibility concerns.
