Software Architect Description: Support, maintain, and enhance DOH Vital Records applications as required. Day to day tasks include: To support, make enhancements, and maintain the existing SPDS, CertProd and other Vital Records (VR) applications. This PTP includes maintenance staff for the following purposes: Support and maintain the existing PowerBuilder applications. Converting some EDRS/SFRDS project HBITS positions to maintenance HBITS positions. As EDRS and SFDRS are implemented some of the positions used to implement the software are needed to maintain it. Additional program-desired, minor enhancements from Lean reviews. Implement several technology-driven changes, such as migrating application databases to Oracle 12c, migrate application software to Java8 and WebLogic 12, and migrate from Sybase databases. Mandatory Qualifications: Expert 84+ Months Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field. Secondary Qualifications: 84 Months of experience in Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) in designing and implementing Information Technology Solutions using PowerBuilder. 48 Months of experience in Sybase databases and developing procedures and packages. 48 Months of experience in Oracle PL/SQL and developing procedures and packages. 36 Months of experience in Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) in designing and implementing Information Technology Solutions using Java 12 Months of experience developing Java Web Services (REST and SOAP) 48 Months of experience with gathering requirements and creating design documentation Candidates needed by 02/15/2024 Please send candidates as soon as possible.
