| From: jyoti, kpg99 [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Visa - USC & GC Only Client - DTCC 3017 Location: Jersey or Boston-hybrid, 3 days on site a week, usc/gc only, c2h Senior Project Manager/Program Manager (lean more towards senior PM, hybrid between PM and Program Manager) Owns the forecast for the assigned opportunities On-going opportunity identification Delivery partner management Resource planning across assigned projects Deal and SOW reviews Status calls with accounts managers who have in-flight projects Contributing to Best Practices Collecting IP produced during project delivery Managing customers, consultants, external partners and project managers Escalation of technical and commercial issues Rolled up portfolio level reporting Define and manage overall project risks and take corrective action in a proactive manner to mitigate those risks Provide clear and timely communication regarding the status of the portfolio schedule, budget, progress to date, risks etc. - to relevant stakeholders Drive continuous improvement of project processes methodology, templates, best practices etc. based on lessons learned from projects - 3 to 4 year effort, part of modernization program or ITP - Application rotation is what they are doing- very large testing effort. Requires this program manager to build out a mini ITP for testing. - Requires technical knowledge bc building out apps - Working with teams that are doing the building - Reporting to squads and to DTCC senior management. Different levels of updating and reporting. - Very senior position. - There will be a set team they will work with. It is a project management but in an agile environment. Definitely technical, definitely program management. - Managing lots of dependencies - Disaster recovery is important, business continuity - Mentally ambitious. This team moves quickly. Talking quickly through meetings clearly. - Fighting fires, multi-tasking. Fast moving - Attitude is key! - Daily meetings with the 2 managers and senior manager will need to be very organized! - Experience creating a large scale plans, with risks, dependencies, is KEY - The technical background- Java, SQL, AWS for the most part. Working on building finance systems with Java and SQL then they will be fine. Theyre not coding but they just need to have been involved in the past. - Ex: a server is going in, need to track when its going in, where it is going, create excel. - Its more a huge scale project. This person is managing a very large project that is their whole focus so its a program manager but they need to be able to get in the trenches and do PM work. - Financial experience preferred strongly Keywords: information technology green card |
