QA Analyst/Tester w Guidewire PolicyCenter(10+ years) Hybrid- San Antonio, TX Visa: USC, GC, H4EAD only Duration: 6 month Contract Rate: $55/HR. C2C Interview: Skype Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 10 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in the insurance domain. Strong understanding of GTUI Framework and Guidewire PolicyCenter. Proficiency in testing methodologies and tools for API, Functional, Performance, and Security testing. Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality software products. Certification in quality assurance or testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus. Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements in the insurance domain. Analyze requirements and develop comprehensive test strategies and plans for all testing types including API, Functional, Performance, and Security testing. Utilize the GTUI Framework to design and execute test cases and scenarios. Perform end-to-end testing for Guidewire PolicyCenter and related integrations. Analyze API payloads for various operations and integration points, determining appropriate testing approaches. Develop and execute manual and automated scripts for API and Functional testing, ensuring thorough test coverage. Prepare and maintain test data strategies based on Guidewire PolicyCenter and legacy systems. Validate Guidewire data model against customer-specific data models. Log defects, track their progress through closure, and ensure proper documentation of testing activities. Coordinate with offshore and onshore teams, as well as other stakeholders, to complete deliverables on time and according to quality standards. Provide regular status updates and reports to stakeholders on testing progress and issues. Estimate effort and resources required for different testing activities and communicate with stakeholders as needed. Develop PolicyCenter configuration/Integration test scenarios and test cases. Conduct functional, application, regression, ad-hoc, and integration tests, covering both positive and negative scenarios. Ensure adherence to established QA processes, standards, and best practices throughout the testing lifecycle.
