Hi, Please find job description below; VISAS- No-h1b NEED LINKED-IN Job TITLE- Release Manager LOCATION- Columbus, Ohio that is able to work hybrid. DURATION- 6+ months contract INTERVIEW- Telephonic and WebEx Kimball Midwest is seeking a Release Manager with in-depth systems release and configuration management experience. T he Release Manager will collaborate and coordinate with both technical and business teams internal and external functional groups at our clients site. Candidate will help with defining process, with code releases, verification/validation prior to migration to Production. Manages schedules, plans ongoing activities across multiple environments, and coordinates the migration and deployment of data releases to the production environment. This is a hands-on role, in charge of coordinating and scheduling deployment of releases. Roles and Responsibilities: Participate with a team of technical staff and managers to understand systems Release & Configuration Management responsibilities needed in large & complex development projects. Document and initiate the change & release tickets required through the various SDLC phases. Help with defining process, with code releases, verification/validation prior to migration to Production. Work with the production support/development team to ensure transition to production and application execution in production environment is smooth. Work with the internal product team, PMO, client and other vendors/contractors involved in hosting and maintaining the product to ensure successful working of the application in all environments for all users at all times. Qualifications: 5 to 8 years of experience required in Deployment Coordination/Release Manager role. Experience managing implementations with many system integrations/dependencies. Software Development Lifecycle experience including waterfall, iterative, and agile. Excellent team player with team building skills Excellent Communication Skills - verbal and written Ability to work with all levels in the organization Strong MS-Project skills. Very good knowledge and strong experience in change management/release management/deployment.
