Job Title- Windows Engineer/VM Ware Location: Onsite in Houston, TX (prefer Local) Any Visa, No H1Bs Long Term Contract Job Description: Hands-on VMware/Windows Server proficient engineer. Minimum 5 years VMware/VxRails/Windows experience. Proficient in VMware monitoring (Log Insight, VRops, vCenter, Dell SRS). Proficient in VMware ESXi upgrades. Proficient in Windows Server multiple editions (2012, 2016, 2019, 2022). Good understanding in VMware migration to AWS. Assist the implementation and support of virtual environments using VMware and Cloud Services (Amazon/AWS and Azure) Maintain backup/restore and disaster recovery solutions. Create and maintain disaster recovery procedures and conduct tests. Implement replication technologies for seamless failover. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Advance knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Windows Server 2012/2016/2019, IIS, Clustering, and Exchange. Advance Knowledge of VMware virtualization platform. Advance understanding of storage technologies including SAN, iSCSI, LUNs.
