Role: Mobile SDET with Appium, SauceLabs and See Test Location: Hybrid in Plano, TX Duration: 12+ months Job Description: Responsibilities: Develop and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications using Appium, Sauce Labs, and SeeTest. Design and implement test plans and test cases for mobile platforms (iOS, Android). Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and quality assurance teams to ensure the quality and reliability of mobile applications. Execute automated tests and analyze test results to identify defects and areas for improvement. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality aspects of mobile application code. Work closely with the development team to integrate automated tests into the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline. Investigate and troubleshoot issues reported by the QA team or end-users related to mobile application functionality and performance. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in mobile application testing and test automation. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test or similar role, with a focus on mobile application testing. Strong proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks, particularly Appium, Sauce Labs, and SeeTest. Experience in scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript for test automation. Knowledge of mobile application development processes, including design, development, testing, and deployment. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and practices. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Effective communication and collaboration abilities, with the capability to work in cross-functional teams. Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines is a plus. Certifications related to mobile testing and test automation are desirable but not required.
