Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Visualization Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leveraging data visualization tools to create insightful and impactful visual representations of data for our organization. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to understand their data needs, designing visually appealing dashboards and reports, and providing actionable insights to support decision-making processes. Key Responsibilities: Utilize data visualization tools such as Looker and Tableau to develop visually compelling dashboards, reports, and interactive visualizations. Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into effective visualizations that communicate key insights and trends. Conduct data analysis and interpretation to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies within the data. Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity in visualization outputs. Continuously explore and implement best practices in data visualization techniques and tools to enhance the quality and impact of visualizations. Provide training and support to end-users on utilizing data visualization tools and interpreting visualizations effectively. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in data visualization and recommend innovative approaches to enhance data visualization capabilities within the organization. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field. Proven experience in data visualization, with proficiency in tools such as Looker and Tableau. Strong understanding of data analysis concepts and techniques, including data modeling and statistical analysis. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity.
