As part of the technology team, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining Python-based solutions, ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of applications on GCP. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain Python applications with a focus on reliability and scalability. Utilize Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to enhance system reliability, including automation, monitoring, and incident response. Collaborate with the Data Scientist team to understand their technical requirements and provide support in implementing data-related solutions. Implement and optimize infrastructure as code (IaC) on GCP using tools such as Terraform or Deployment Manager. Work with GCP services including Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, and BigQuery to build robust and scalable solutions. Set and measure performance against Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs) to ensure the system meets reliability requirements. Utilize infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible to streamline deployment processes. Work with Kubernetes on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) for container orchestration and management. Stay updated with industry trends, GCP advancements, and emerging technologies. Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Python Developer with strong knowledge of Python programming. Significant experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and infrastructure. Expertise in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices and principles. Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or Deployment Manager. Proficiency in infrastructure automation using Ansible. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, preferably on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
