The centralized mobile application development and solution delivery organization, providing enterprise shared services across company to organizations such as national functions, regions, PMO, medical groups and others for the purpose of empowering business strategy and needs through the nimble, world-class development, delivery and support of mobile application solutions at scale. The Senior Mobile Project Manager/Scrum Master will be responsible for managing one or more scrum teams developing native mobile consumer applications. This role requires working with consumer app program managers, developers, designers, mobile architects, dev ops, shared services, regional/business stakeholders, and leadership to insure coordination and readiness for the delivery of mobile solutions. The primary goals/objectives of this position is to guide all relevant aspects of the mobile product lifecycle, which may include: input into product feature backlog, assistance with product roadmaps, agile SDLC artifact creation and task completion, capturing business/technical requirements, risks/issues/RYG reporting, facilitating scrum ceremonies, and working to remove blockers. This position requires strong relationship, communication and project management skills in order to successfully engage product owners, regional stakeholders, development teams, and IT partners. The ability to engage different customers and stakeholders with varying levels of technical expertise is significant for this position, as are strong analytical, facilitation, and communication skills. The Senior Mobile Project Manager/Scrum Master will provide process and technical direction to program managers, scrum teams, and others, which may involve acting as a scrum coach. The successful candidate will be comfortable consultin on and utilizing the latest rapid development or other non-sequential project methodologies. Serve as subject matter expert on Agile development methods and processes. Typically possesses most skills of the traditional project manager. Experienced with geographically diverse development teams is desirable. Essential Functions: Run agile scrum ceremonies for one or more native consumer mobile app scrum teams Contribute to the program's adherence to KP Solution Delivery Lifecycle PM policy through appropriate and timely reporting, artifact creation, and successful project phase gate reviews Know when to use different techniques appropriately: use cases/personas, requirements documents, storyboards/comps, user stories, story sizing, definition of done, scrum testing, unit testing, regression testing, UAT, and agile techniques quick facilitation of consensus Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to optimize scrum team velocity and assist the team in meeting sprint commitments Collaborate with architects and other team members to understand implications of requirements and requests - usability, risks/issues, resource availability, test environment slotting, schedules, etc. Clarify - and challenge if necessary - assumptions from business partners and articulate schedule and other consequences of change requests, resource constraints, etc. Collaborate professionally and productively with a diverse group of business and IT partners and stakeholders Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Experience Minimum four (4) years of experience. Education Bachelor's degree in relatead field OR four (4) years of experience in a directly related field. High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required. Preferred Qualifications: Certified Scrum Master and/or CSPO certification A minimum of 4 years of experience in project management A minimum of 4 years of experience in agile software development using techniques such as scrum ceremonies, user stories, use cases, personas, scrum testing, unit testing, and dev ops Strong communication, interpersonal, facilitation, presentation, and collaboration skills Strong analytical skills and technical acumen. Ability to decompose high-level information into details on the one hand, and abstract up from low-level information on the other hand Ability to distill true requirements, dependencies, and priorities down from a melange of stakeholder requests and opinions Ability to intelligently and appropriately challenge assumptions from business partners, and articulate consequences and impact of significant change requests or emerging risks Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of people, including executives, managers, end users, business customers, technical architects, developers, designers, PMO/program managers, and subject matter experts Experience and competency with both agile and waterfall software development methodologies Experience with different project management, reporting, user story, defect management and testing tools such as Rally, Microsoft Project, MS Office, SharePoint, Visio, Client Quality Center, Jira, Box Understanding and knowledge of unique factors and challenges of developing mobile applications in relation to traditional applications and web sites PMI PMP or PMI-ACP certification Agile SAFe certification or coursework Experience in healthcare or other regulated industry Experience working for large organizations, large programs, and cross-organizational initiatives Experience working with PMO processes and reporting Keywords: information technology green card microsoft California |
