Client: IN-DCS-Application System Analyst Programmer (729371) Title: Application System Analyst Programmer Location: Indianapolis, IN (Remote) ( Need local to IN Only ) Description: Complete Description: Resource will be responsible for the activities of an Applications Systems Analyst/Programmer of Master Data Management team of State of Indianas child welfare system, which is built on a PostgreSQL/Ruby on Rails/SQL Server/ASP .Net platform. This system is currently being rebuilt on Salesforce and MuleSoft platform . Resource will work under the direction of the Indiana Department of Child Services (DCS), Child Welfare (CW) IT Office. Responsibilities Include: Design and develop interactive and dynamic reports for business intelligence. Work on Integration of data from various sources into a unified system. Assist in design and implementation of Master Data Management solutions. Proactive in identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and data quality issues. Adhere to SQL Development best practices. Meet project deadlines and requirements while working in an independent and remote role. Communicate progress, needs, and planning with supervisors on a weekly basis, or as requested. Perform other related duties as assigned. Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience Information Technology (IT) Experience Required 6 Years Extensive Experience in Postgres SQL and SQL Server Databases and Reporting with Strong programming skills in languages like T-SQL, PL/pgSQL, or other Required 5 Years Database Systems/Database Tools (Microsoft SQL Server RDBMS Advanced and PostgreSQL Advanced) Required 4 Years ETL - SSIS or similar Required 4 Years SSRS or other reporting tools Required 4 Years Proficient in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions Required 2 Years Experience with database design, schema creation, and maintenance as well as Strong programming skills in languages like T-SQL, PL/pgSQL Required 2 Years SQL Server features such as indexing, partitioning, and security Required 2 Years Performance tuning and optimization of database queries Required 2 Years Proficient in designing, developing, and maintaining SSIS packages Required 2 Years Experience with data migration, ETL processes, and data transformation using SSIS with Knowledge of best practices for SSIS development and deployme Required 2 Years Hands-on experience in designing and creating reports using SSRS with Knowledge of best practices for SSIS development and deployment Required 2 Years identifying and resolving database-related issues and Strong debugging skills for troubleshooting code and performance problems Required 2 Years Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, manage priorities, and meet deadlines Required 2 Years Bachelors degree Highly desired 4 Years Knowledge of Tableau Desired 2 Years Ability to work within a team environment Desired 2 Years Strong communication skills Desired 2 Years Experience with Salesforce Data Desired 2 Years Knowledge of Child Welfare Information System Desired 2 Years Thanks and Regards Rizwan Khan| SR US IT Recruiter | Thoughtwave Software and Solutions Inc 314 N.
