Our team utilizes 1e Tachyon and Lakeside Sys Track but experience with any other DEX tool would be beneficial. o Experience with analyzing and interpreting data o Experience with endpoint engineering Hybrid role all team members are expected to be in the office 2 days per week or more if required. o What days will be in-office and remote: The team is required to be in the office every Wednesday at our Chicago Reservations Center location just north of OHare airport. The other in-office day(s) can be on a day and office location of the team members choice. This is always subject to change. Office location as referred here means Willis Tower or Chicago o What shift (if applicable): Our team works Mon Fri during standard business hours. There is flexibility on work hours to help accommodate each team member, but within reason. Overview: The DEX Engineer provides technical expertise in end user engineering to strengthen the reliability, efficiency, and performance of the enterprise by utilizing Digital Employee Experience (DEX) and endpoint management tools. It is critical that this role be a technical partner to implement established standards and procedures which support the enterprise's managed infrastructure along with ensuring operational stability. This role is responsible for identifying issues that require remediation and implementing reliable solutions and automations that maintain the integrity of the existing infrastructure as well as meet the customer objectives. The DEX engineer must work effectively in a team to establish synergies with IT peers across the enterprise. Required qualifications: Bachelors degree in information technology or 5 years of equivalent experience Technical Skills Required: Lakeside Sys Track or 1E Tachyon Expertise Intermediate to expert skill level with PowerShell Active Directory Expertise of basic concepts; groups/memberships/security Group Policy Understanding GPO utilization in an enterprise environment Microsoft SCCM or VMWare Workspace ONE experience Soft Skills Required: Communication Skills The ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of employees and management, capable of successful formal and informal communication at the appropriate level. Teamwork Works well in a collaborative setting, acting as a positive team member by contributing to discussions, developing, and maintaining both formal and informal relationships enterprise-wide, defines success in terms of the entire team through mentoring and knowledge transfer. Technical Expertise Demonstrates a commitment to increasing knowledge and skills in providing architecture, engineering and operations direction and support of end user device management in a large enterprise, keeping up to date on technical developments and industry practices. Demonstrated success in managing complex technical projects that require innovative solutions. Demonstrated success in delivering results on complex technical challenges including strong investigative and problem-solving skills. Knowledge/Skills Preferred: Intermediate to expert SQL experience SCALE Script Language experience SQL Server Reporting Services and/or PowerBI Experience Required: 2+ years of experience navigating and developing solutions in either 1E Tachyon or Lakeside Sys Track. 5+ years of progressively responsible work experience specifically in Enterprise Endpoint Engineering. 5+ years experience with integrating multiple complex solutions into one standard enterprise solution.
