Onsite. Notes of rejected candidates: Candidate 1: He is very strong for citrix side. However, his experience is main focus on windows VDI, Linux is not much in depth. His previous role is working in the IT team for 400+ IT member. Citrix is his main role. Other like confluence experience are administration level for creating space, assign permission. Personality wise, his response very informative with detail (he can answer my one question for 10 minutes), which is good sometime, but could be overwhelmed for management inquiry. Candidate 2: His citrix knowledge/experience are back to 2017. He can barely answer me what is difference between VDI Pool machine V.S. persistence machines. Skills: 1. Citrix is the MUST with script automation skill. Other like SharePoint, Confluence, other O365 apps is good to have managing experience. 2. Master of Citrix XenDesktop 3. Excellent knowledge of Windows Server 2016 and 2019 Operating systems 4. Active Directory (AD) & Domain Controller Administration including DNS and GPO management in a multi-site environment 5. Building and administering Windows servers and accompanying infrastructure, maintaining capacity and performance in enterprise environment 6. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Products, such as Exchange, SharePoint, Project, SQL etc, on both on-preme and Microsoft O365 7. Manage/upgrade/migration experience to O365 Cloud 8. Strong knowledge of virtual environment, hypervisor, such as VMware Vcenter, hyperV, etc 9. Automation scripting, such as Windows server Powershell, MS Exchange Cmdlets 10. Understanding of NAS\\SAN Storage, Replication, load balancing, and LAN\\WAN Technologies 11. Work with vendors and perform upgrade/installation related activities, analysis and troubleshooting issues to provide resolution and execute on any new enhancement as required by business 12. Experience with Infrastructure virtual environment, VDI, Citrix ADC Load balancer, Backup& Restore, disaster recovery and business continuity 13. Experience and knowledge administering workflows and issue schemes in Jira Software and Confluence 14. Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced IT environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines 15. Responsible for research, design, deploy, and maintain Email services, windows servers, AD, VDI, and email related services.
