Senior Applications DBA RTP, NC/ Hybrid Long-term Contract The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) requires a Senior Applications DBA to support the migration and development support of various applications for North Carolina Families Accessing Services through Technology (NC FAST). The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) requires a Senior Applications DBA to support migration of Oracle database effort from on-prem to AWS cloud and development support of various applications for NC FAST in AWS Cloud. Primary responsibilities include managing the application schema, design, and extensions within the database for development, test, and production environments for Oracle database on Linux platform. The responsibilities also include database technical support, performance tuning, application administration and consulting, and providing support for Oracle, Oracle Data guard, Oracle Golden Gate. This resource will serve in a key role in the managing Oracle database on cloud platforms like AWS, Lead the development of procedures and best practices for effective database for high volume application system and providing database solution for application modernization. Provision and manage Oracle database instances on AWS/Linux Install, configure, and troubleshoot Golden Gate for batch and online process synchronization for high volume database Set up replication and high availability for Oracle databases using tools like Golden gate Monitor Oracle database performance Troubleshoot Oracle database problems Perform backups and restores of Oracle databases Work with application developers to identify and refine data requirements, table/database design, assist in SQL writing Thanks & Regards, Prabhu VisionSoft International Inc.
