Title: Microsoft 365 Graph API Consultant Location: - Hartford, CT (Hybrid) Hire Type: Contract What are the top 3 skills required for this role 1. Microsoft Graph API, Azure Application Registrations, One or more scripting or coding languages is preferred 2. Knowledge in Exchange online and SharePoint online to answer questions on how they relate in Graph API and Application integrations 3. Working knowledge of AD security groups and exchange groups. Job Description/ Responsibilities The person in this role is someone with experience provisioning applications with Microsoft Graph API and assigning App registrations in Microsoft Azure. The role is a contributing member of a larger team that monitors and guides internal customers on provisioning applications using Microsoft Graph API. The goal of the department is to monitor and govern all application registrations across the organization. The candidate must be able to set up a meeting and gather requirements from application owners. They must be comfortable answering questions about how Microsoft Graph works and the types of permissions that might apply to their application. While no development is expected, a good understanding of the software development process and how app registrations are created is essential. This role is not required to implement changes to App registrations but to triage and initiate requests to create or resolve app registration issues. The candidate must have basic knowledge in SharePoint, Exchange, and Azure to be able to troubleshoot App Registration configurations. Participate in department and division meetings. Monitor a Service Now queue and create provisioning requests Translate Service requests application development into Service Now tickets to provision resources in Azure. When development teams have issues with their application integrations, review the configurations in Azure and open service requests to coordinate with the Azure team to resolve the issues.
