Job Description -

Job Title: Application/Production Support Analyst

Location: Philadelphia PA (This role is primarily remote but client would candidates somewhat close to Philadelphia to come in as needed)

Duration: 6 Months 

The Application/Production Support Analyst with PL/SQL will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, level II/ III support of the application systems in operation, including tasks related to identifying and troubleshooting application issues and issues resolution or escalation.

Required Experience includes:
6-8 years of experience in Application and/or Production Support skills.
6-8 years of strong PL/SQL scripting experience.
6-8 years of experience in Incident Management, Change Management and Problem Management.
6-8 Years of experience in Windows Based Operating Systems, including IIS knowledge and SQL Server.
Expertise in troubleshooting and analyzing the issue and coming up with a resolution.
Ability to multi-task and work under tough deadlines.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to interact succinctly with technical and non-technical folks.
Knowledge of the following tools and technologies: Oracle, SQL Server, Toad, .Net, MQ is preferred.

Responsibilities includes:
Represent the Production Support organization on company-wide project teams.
Monitor process and software changes that impact production support, communicate project information to the production support staff and raise production support issues to the project team.
Prioritize workload, providing timely and accurate resolutions.
Perform production support activities which involve assignment of issues and issue analysis and resolution within the specified SLAs.
Provide daily support with resolution of escalated tickets and act as liaison to business and technical leads to ensure issues are resolved in timely manner.
Participate in knowledge transfer to ensure better grasp of the product and domain.
Suggest fixes to complex issues by doing a thorough analysis of root cause and impact of the defect.
Coordinate with Application Development Team to successfully deploy software releases in both User Acceptance Testing and Production environments
