An early response is really appreciated Job Title: Platform Engineer Location: Cincinnati, OH (day one onsite) Duration: Long Term As a Platform Engineer, will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our banking platform while collaborating with various cross-functional teams. Responsibilities: Manage and maintain the overall infrastructure of our 3rd party hosted core banking platform, ensuring its stability, performance, and security. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolutions to minimize downtime and disruptions. Collaborate with development teams to automate infrastructure deployment, configuration, and scaling using tools like Kubernetes, Docker, and Ansible. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery of software applications on the platform. Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and implement necessary security measures to protect the platform and customer data. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and security, to ensure smooth integration of new features and modules into the platform. Conduct capacity planning and forecasting to ensure the platform's scalability to meet increasing demands. Maintain up-to-date documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in core banking platforms and related technologies and provide recommendations for system improvements. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Master's degree is a plus. Proven experience as a Platform Engineer or similar role, preferably in the banking or financial industry. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience working with 3rd party hosted core banking platforms. Proficiency in infrastructure automation using tools like Kubernetes, Docker, and Ansible. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and related technologies such as Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI. Strong knowledge of security best practices and experience in implementing security measures in a banking environment. Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps principles. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Looking forward to work with you !!
