Role: SharePoint Online Architect/SME Location : New Jersey Hybrid Duration : Contract Company Overview: Seeking a skilled and experienced SharePoint Online Architect to join our dynamic team. As a SharePoint Online Architect and SME, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing SharePoint solutions, focusing on migrations, customization, and integration with the Power Platform. Position Overview: As a SharePoint Online Architect, you will be responsible for managing SharePoint migrations, customizing sites using out-of-the-box functionalities and SPFx, and integrating solutions within the Power Platform. The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical background in SharePoint development, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams. Immediate assignment demands a SharePoint SME to work on M365 tenant consolidation. This position requires expertise in SharePoint Online, strong understanding of Microsoft 365 environments, and the ability to lead and execute consolidation efforts effectively. Responsibilities: As an SME for M365 tenant consolidation project Assess current SharePoint configurations in multiple Microsoft 365 tenants and formulate a strategy for consolidation. Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of SharePoint migrations to consolidate into a single Microsoft 365 tenant. Ensure data integrity and security throughout the consolidation process, adhering to compliance standards. Collaborate closely with IT teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to align SharePoint consolidation efforts with broader project goals. Provide expert guidance and support to resolve technical challenges related to SharePoint during consolidation. Develop and implement best practices, governance standards, and documentation for the unified SharePoint environment. Communicate progress, risks, and updates effectively to project stakeholders. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient SharePoint solutions. Customize SharePoint sites using out-of-the-box features, SPFx, and other relevant tools to meet specific project needs. Develop, implement, and maintain SharePoint solutions that align with best practices and governance standards. Integrate SharePoint solutions with the Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate, to enhance functionality and user experience. Provide technical expertise and support for SharePoint-related issues, troubleshooting, and system enhancements. Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless integration of SharePoint solutions with other systems and applications. Stay updated with the latest SharePoint Online features, tools, and technologies to propose and implement innovative solutions. Requirements: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience of 8+ as a SharePoint Developer, focusing on SharePoint Online. Strong expertise in SharePoint migrations, including planning, execution, and post-migration support. Proficiency in customizing SharePoint sites using out-of-the-box features and SPFx. Experience integrating SharePoint with the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, etc.). Knowledge of SharePoint governance, best practices, and security standards. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team. Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Microsoft certifications in SharePoint or related technologies is a plus.
