Title: Java Lead Developer with Kafka and Kubernetes Remote Need Ex-T mobile candidate 5+ years of Java experience. o Ideally both Java 8 and 17 or 8 and 21. o Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Authentication, JPA and or Hibernate. o Should understand the Java memory model and multithreading concepts. o Should have experience with RabbitMQ or another messaging solution. o Should have experience with Kafka or other streaming. o Some Azure would be helpful. o Understanding of either Active Directory or Okta and JWT tokens and OAuth o Database experience both relational and NoSQL. Ideally MySQL and Cassandra o Experience with Microservices and understanding of pitfalls such as data consistency. 2+ years of Kubernetes o Willing to support an application with a 99.999 SLA - no maintenance windows. o Should know most Kubecll commands. o Diagnose problems by checking logs on pods and in Splunk or similar tools. o Familiar with Deployments, ConfigMaps, Secrets and others o Ideally able to fine tune cpu and memory in Kubernetes deployments o Experience with Kubernetes Autoscaling o Ideally familiar with some type of load testing tool(s) such as Artillery or JMeter o Experience with Helm o Nice to have experience with Strumzi. o Familiar with Kubernetes patterns such as Ambassador 2+ years of Gitlab or Github actions ideally but others such as Jenkins acceptable. o Understanding of deployment concepts such as Blue Green o Infrastructure as Code o Shell Scripting and basic Linux commands o Code scanning tools such as Find bugs and Container scanning o Source control ideally git, but SVN or others acceptable. -- Keywords: information technology |
