This role requires a seasoned professional with a robust background and expertise in the Esri Geospatial Platform. The successful candidate will focus on administering and overseeing the platform used by developers, ensuring its optimal performance. We are specifically looking for someone who has set up or architected an enterprise GIS environment with ESRI stack, installed ArcGIS Portal, configured web adapter for multi site domains, and installed, configured, and federated ArcGIS servers. Responsibilities: Administer and oversee the GIS platform to facilitate smooth operations for developers Utilize strong functional knowledge to drive the strategy and establish standards for a scalable Enterprise GIS Platform Work closely with business partners to analyze spatial requirements and define technology decisions Drive digital innovation and develop roadmaps using new technologies to fulfill strategic business plans Design high-level migration plans to address gaps in the current state Coach, mentor, and lead technical subject matter experts to ensure consistency across technology architectures Own governance, assurance, and standards activities for enterprise technology architecture compliance Oversee the evaluation, risk assessment, selection, and design of hardware and software technology and product standards Install, administer, configure, troubleshoot, and optimize Enterprise GIS Solutions Translate designs into deliverables through implementation and deployment Qualifications: 5+ years of experience as a GIS Systems Administrator with a strong understanding of GIS best practices and functionality 2+ years of experience with Esri Platform cloud deployments, including hands-on implementation in AWS Familiarity with designing/supporting Enterprise Imagery Services and Analytics best practices Business, Application, and Data Architecture experience Experience defining roadmaps and standards Experience designing solutions that include business innovation and transformation, improved process workflows, and UI/UX Ability to decompose a business request into meaningful capabilities and processes Adept at creative solution development with a drive to innovate and automate Previous experience working in an agile, fast-paced, dynamic project environment Hands-on experience with application development, system configuration, and support Any applicable AWS Certifications are preferred Any Kubernetes or Docker Certifications are preferred Keywords: user interface user experience information technology |
