This role will consist of focusing on setting up data, managing data, and leveraging the full capabilities of Power BI Service on the cloud. The ideal candidate will be adept at navigating the intricacies of Power BI Service, with a clear understanding of its differences from on-premises solutions, and will have advanced expertise in extracting, transforming, and visualizing data from diverse sources, with a specific focus on cloud-based solutions like Databricks and Snowflake. Key Responsibilities: Power BI Service Expertise: Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Power BI Service and its nuances, distinguishing it from on-premises Power BI usage. Drive 99% of data-related tasks within Power BI Service and cloud environments, utilizing tools such as Databricks or SQL Data Warehouse. Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards ot meet business requirements. Cloud Data and Hybrid Implementation: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from cloud-based sources, such as Databricks and Snowflake, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Execute hybrid data integration strategies, seamlessly combining data from on-premises sources with cloud-based Power BI datasets. Share experiences in accomplishing hybrid work, emphasizing efficient methods for merging and managing data from diverse sources. Data Migration and Operations: Contribute to DataOps initiatives, participating in the movement and migration of data, particularly from on-premises Oracle databases. Standardize tables in the cloud (Azure) to optimize Power BI accessibility and performance. Healthcare Data Integration: Showcase experience in working with healthcare data or merging business data from different facets of the organization. Detail strategies employed to create a unified dashboard, ensuring robust security implementations. Data Modeling Proficiency: Utilize advanced data modeling techniques within Power BI to optimize data visualization and reporting. Serve as a key source of expertise in Power BI data modeling, ensuring the integrity and efficiency of data representation. Best Practices and Governance: Share insights into best practices adopted in hybrid data set scenarios, drawing from practical experience. Implement and enforce data governance principles to maintain data integrity and security. Qualifications: Extensive experience in Power BI Service, cloud data integration, and hybrid implementations. Expertise in utilizing Databricks, Snowflake, SQL Data Warehouse, and other relevant cloud-based tools. Hands-on experience with healthcare data integration is highly desirable. Strong understanding of DataOps principles and best practices. Familiarity with Oracle databases and the ability to migrate data seamlessly.
