Job Description

Title - Sr. Technical Architect (481166) 

Location - Lake Forest, CA (Onsite)

Tech stack: Java MS, Java Spring boot, AWS Cloud computing, cyber security

Key Responsibilities:

System Design and Integration: Develop frameworks for integrating various medical devices

(SiMD/SAMD) this including hardware, software, and cloud technologies; Ensure seamless

connectivity and interoperability of medical technologies, mobile apps, and digital health

platforms.

Standards Compliance: Maintain adherence to healthcare IT standards (HL7, FHIR, IEEE 11073,

DICOM, etc.) with a focus on cutting-edge MedTech solutions; Innovate and advocate for

adopting new digital health technologies and standards.

Security and Privacy: Implement robust security measures such as data protection, medical

identity, and access to medical devices and digital solutions; Ensure global regulatory

compliance, standards, and customer security needs.

Collaboration with cross-functional team(s): Engage with R&D, Commercial, IT, Lighthouse, and

Digital services organization to understand and meet interoperability and security challenges;

Lead cross-functional teams/projects to develop and integrate interoperability technologies into

R&D products and solutions.

Innovation: Stay abreast of trends and innovations in digital health and MedTech; Evaluate and

integrate emerging technologies such as AI, IoT, and Robotics into medical devices; Address

complex challenges in integrating traditional medical devices with digital health solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or related fields.

Demonstrated experience in medical devices, including software, hardware, and cloud

platforms.

In-depth knowledge of medical device interoperability, digital health platforms, and related

technology protocols and standards (e.g., NIST, FDA, etc.).

Hand-on/working knowledge of operating systems, firmware, hardware, software, and cloud 

Expertise in data security and regulatory compliance in healthcare environments.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Excellent communication skills, both for technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Skills:

Advanced certifications in digital health, healthcare IT standards, and MedTech.

Experience in a clinical setting focusing on medical devices (SaMD/SiMD) and healthcare

technologies.

Knowledge of emerging trends in healthcare technologies.

Certification or knowledge in cybersecurity/product security
