Product Analyst Role, Responsibilities & Key Success Measures: The Product Analyst will work within the Supply Chain Technology organization within the SOURCE product line. They are an integral member of a cross-functional product squad with collaboration across E2E supply chain functions. This program is a multi-year global program to bring all suppliers into one MDM platform. Responsibilities: Support Product Owner to translate business needs and requirements into stories for the squad backlog Understand user needs and translate them into detailed requirements for the squad Build use cases, write, manage, and clarify user stories, visualization, and process flows Document confirmed business processes to serve as a reference for development and IT support Apply business process improvement methods for optimization Maintain a deep understanding of the business process and product to ensure the squads backlog priorities are aligned with business/group needs Track metrics and build reports to measure progress Manage dependencies with other squads working closely with squad PO, peer POs and the Product Manager Apply compliance requirements within the scope of responsibility, ensuring SDLC documentation, system configuration, and compliance activities are up to date as required Support and/or facilitate system demos via inspect and adapt workshops as needed Ensure each feature has a clear definition of done; ensure each feature level deliverable is aligned to a definition of readiness to enter a sprint Stories faithfully represent the needs of the business User Stories meet the Definition of Ready (DOR) by the required deadlines Business Product Owner (BPO) has the information they need to be able to disposition all user stories All necessary work drivers are accounted for during the User Story estimation All Acceptance Criteria are testable and comprehensive to ensure that business needs are met Explain how requirements may be implemented from a functional standpoint and drive/improve user experience Help write UAT scripts and participate in User Acceptance Testing as needed Support the test script team so that they understand acceptance criteria to be able to write quality scripts Product Analysts will be the beginning and ending Stage gates to tests: Provide WHAT needs to be tested The script WILL test the user story Verify that it tested the user story successfully Qualifications: SAP - beneficial to understand SAP nuances, but they'll be working with a Product Analyst on the system side Experience with Supplier management or procurement Must be a techno-functional BA Must be experienced with JSON to XML mappings and working with ERP integrations (preferably SAP) Must be hands-on with SQL Must be able to gather technical requirements and translate into user stories Must have an aptitude for understanding overall program/business objectives and translate that into technical deliverables Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills Requirements: Must have prior experience with Supplier management an/or procurement Strong Agile experience, creating user stories Must be a techno-functional BA Must be experienced with JSON to XML mappings and working with ERP integrations (preferably SAP) Must be hands-on with SQL Must be able to gather technical requirements and translate into user stories Must have an aptitude for understanding overall program/business objectives and translate that into technical deliverables. Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
