We are looking to staff senior Data/ETL developers to help us build a cloud native ETL pipeline that will be leveraged by the applications that our customers use to manage benefits/products. 2. This position will start off as primarily developing with expectations that 80-90% of the time will be spent developing and designing solutions written using the CloverDX ETL tool. 3. As the project matures the expectation is that this developer will mentor and help upskill existing Sun Life employees to move from primarily legacy ETL tooling to Clover running in a cloud environment. What are the TOP 5 Critical Skills or Must Haves skills a candidate should have on their resume in order to be considered SQL (intermediate or better must be able to read/write complex queries and optimize performance) Visual ETL development (such as CloverDX, Informatica, SSIS, or similar); experience building and optimizing performant large-scale ETL loads CloverDX specifically (our ETL tool, its not widely used)Preferred Basic understanding of modern web application design (APIs, etc); our team doesnt build web apps but we do support them Basic understanding of data warehouse design and best practices What are the main 3-5 technologies this resource should be proficient in Can clearly explain to both technical and business users what their ETL is doing and why Able to understand and analyze business requirements for data integration Can work in an iterative/agile environment, both with teammates and independently Snowflake or Go/GRPC Preferred.
