Job Role: Program Manager Client: FL Department of Financial Services Location: On-site(Florida) Education: Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. Certification: Project Management certification. Required Experience: Extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of Project Management methodologies and tools. 12+ years of IT and business/industry work experience. 5+ years of leadership experience. 7+ years in managing projects. Experience as senior level management with overall responsibility for the management of one highly complex or enterprise- wide program consisting of multiple projects Experience developing program strategy, supporting business case and various enterprise-wide high-level project plans. Experience directing and mentoring a team of project managers, portfolio managers and/or other project management staff. Experience communicating with IT leadership, business leadership and IT Business Consultants to communicate program strategy, direction and changes. Experience with the integration of projects, tracking key project milestones and recommending adjustments to Project Managers. Preferred Experience: Experience working with senior leadership of the business community to identify and prioritize opportunities for utilizing IT to achieve the goals of the enterprise.
