Role: D365 Project Operations Techno-Functional Consultant Location: Remote Position Type: Contract Job Description: Need a seasoned D365 Project Operations Techno-Functional Consultant Sit in an end user shoes, identify their needs, and translate them into practical solutions with a passion for operational process efficacy. Innovative Operations projects and look forward to guiding clients through their move to D365 POps from legacy systems and add value to their business processes. Leads the delivery team through all stages of the project to include analyse, design, develop, test and deploy. Provides the overall direction of the design, solution, development, and oversight. Initial and primary point of customer contact for all delivery project concerns and issues throughout the delivery cycle of Project Operations module. Reviews, and provides guidance for developing high level and detailed architecture, data migration, data integration, security model etc. Skills: Expert knowledge of D365 Project Operations, formerly known as D365 Project Services Automation (PSA). 5+ years of MS Dynamics 365 CE and Project Operations/Project Service Automation experience. Good knowledge of D365 F&O and how it inter-operates with D365 Project Operations. Lead functional workshops with clients, document requirements, and design appropriate solutions or workarounds at the least. Lead and work with the client and internal teams with Architects that represent other line of business applications like Finance and Operations, Data & Analytics, etc. Has a solid grasp of migration, integration, D365 line of business application capabilities, and CE technical and functional capabilities. Working knowledge of PowerApps, Power Automate, Azure, Office 365, Azure Data Factory, and other related technologies including automation. Competent, capable, and familiar with all aspects of D365 delivery projects. Work with the client, internal teams and Microsoft (product vendor) on infrastructure requirements, implementation, and configuration or any procut. Exposure to Microsoft Licensing will be a value add. Product Capabilities/Functional/Domain Knowledge: Deal management experience. Customize resource-based costing and pricing. Use deal structures tailored for project-based organizations. Manage pipeline with a unified sales dashboard. Worked on enhanced project management capabilities. Estimate and track projects to budget. Collaboration features across the project lifecycle. Forecast trends for the duration of a project. Optimize resource utilization and intelligent scheduling. Simplify time tracking and expense management. Tracking business performance through streamlined project financials. Recognize revenue accurately and on time. Improve cash flow by invoicing customers quickly. Manage project accounting with higher accuracy. Exposure to making a service-centric ERP system. Improve visibility for greater business impact. Visualize key insights for fast, informed decisions. Democratize data to eliminate silos. Create forecasting snapshots.
