| From: Ankit Upadhyay, Pivotal Technologies [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Title: Senior MicroStratergy Admin Location: Hybrid in Reston, VA ( Candidate need to be in PA, MD, VA, Wash DC or WVA to be considered) Duration: 6+ Months Rate: $65/hr on C2C Visa: NO CPT, H1 Note: Please share the LinkedIn Responsibilities: Modernize existing code to integrate MicroStrategy and Big Data technology in AWS including integrate and utilize different database such as PostgreSQL, EMR, Snowflake Help with performance tuning and develop best practices Design secure code and environment Provide support to cross teams and cross projects with deployment and upgrade including troubleshooting of incidents to maintain the required service level. Work on complex, major or highly visible tasks in support of multiple projects that require multiple areas of expertise in an Enterprise environment Automation and DevOPs for MicroStrategy and Big Data technology Required Qualifications: 5-8 years of experience in administration and support of MicroStrategy 2+ years of experience with AWS (S3, RedShift, EC2) 5-8 years of experience in a Linux and Apache processing environment 5-8 years of experience with Unix shell scripting, SQL, PL/SQL Ability to modify the environment to ensure scaling, reliability and performance of the environment Experience working with and/or building automation tools, Migration, Administration, Library, MicroStrategy Mobile and Mobile App, Performance, Security, Customizations (SDK), both for configuration and testing Must be able to benchmark systems and analyze system bottlenecks in a hybrid environment and propose solutions to eliminate them. Experience with automation scripting. You will be responsible for researching and providing recommendations on automating administration tasks.
