Additional Information: Candidate MUST have at least 10 years of experience in IT with a focus on project implementation. Must be available in PST time zone for video conferencing/calls. Mandatory Skills: ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) Certification: Must possess a current ServiceNow CIS certification, preferably in an area relevant to public sector solutions or Service Management. Government Sector Implementation Experience: Proven track record of successful ServiceNow implementations within the government sector, demonstrating an understanding of the unique requirements and challenges of public service projects. Project Experience with Permit Tracking Systems: Direct involvement in at least one project focused on the development or implementation of a Permit Tracking System within ServiceNow, showcasing the ability to adapt ServiceNow functionalities to complex permitting processes. Business Process Analysis and Reengineering: Skilled in analyzing existing permit-related business processes, identifying inefficiencies, and reengineering processes to optimize performance and user experience within ServiceNow. ServiceNow Configuration and Customization: Deep knowledge of configuring and customizing ServiceNow applications, including forms, fields, tables, workflows, business rules, UI policies, data policies, and client scripts to meet project requirements. Workflow Design and Automation: Proficiency in designing and automating complex workflows within ServiceNow to streamline permit application, review, issuance, and tracking processes. User Experience and Portal Design: Experience in designing user-friendly Service Portals using ServiceNow's Portal Designer, ensuring accessibility, ease of use, and compliance with organizational branding and design standards. Integration Expertise: Strong experience in integrating ServiceNow with external systems using REST, SOAP web services, and MID Servers, especially integrating with payment gateways, digital signature platforms, and other government systems. Security and Compliance: Knowledge of implementing robust security measures within ServiceNow, including access controls, role-based permissions, and data encryption, to ensure the protection of sensitive information and compliance with government regulations. Reporting and Analytics: Ability to create and customize reports and dashboards within ServiceNow, providing real-time insights into permit processing metrics, user engagement, and operational efficiency. Training and Documentation: Skills in developing comprehensive documentation and training materials for end-users and administrators, ensuring smooth adoption and ongoing support of the implemented solution. Agile Project Management: Experience in managing implementation projects using Agile methodologies, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones, effective stakeholder communication, and adaptability to changing requirements. Change Management: Expertise in managing the organizational change associated with implementing new technologies, including stakeholder engagement, communication planning, and user training. Familiarity with the public sector, especially law enforcement agency workflows and requirements.
