This will be a hybrid role, following return to work guidelines - consultant will be expected to come into the office 1x/week. Assisting the team members with best patterns and practices and ensuring they are followed. Ensuring security, maintainability, and performance of the application. Mentoring team members Refining the requirements and translating them into a detail design of data stores, components, and services. Assisting the PM with task breakdown, estimation, and assignment. Creating functional and detail design documentation. Assisting with production problem resolution. Being a SME and single point of contact for the PM, business, management, and security office/audit. Experience of working as a member of an agile team and familiar with agile planning and estimation techniques. Demonstrate a solid understanding of the fundamental rationale for employing an agile approach to implementation. Experience with using engineering practices that compliment an agile approach. Test driven development, source branching strategies, continuous integration etc. Experience working with TFS for source control, deployment / builds, backlog and task management.
