Workday/Okta: Workday-driven IT provisioning Okta integrates with Workday to drive IT provisioning. When a Workday user is imported into Okta, Workday continues to manage them. Updates and terminations made in Workday are reflected in Okta and downstream apps. This arrangement enables Workday to manage employee and contractor access to apps. Workday-driven IT provisioning is a superset of the functionality provided by imports from Workday. Therefore, the instructions for configuring Workday-driven IT provisioning are also relevant to import from Workday scenarios. Overview: Komodo is a WorkDay shop from an HRIS perspective. Workday is connected to/integrated with Okta, their Identity & Access Mgmt platform. Workday provides permissioning to Okta. With the recent organization restructuring they had, several teams lost permission to their tools, 64 people lost access to Snowflake. We need to someone who has Workday & Okta integration experience (Functional Analyst System Architect) to come in and look at the integrations between the two tools and detangle it and provide high level feedback. Want someone who can diagnose the issues, provide recommendations, and then help execute the recommendations and architect/program the Workday instance. They are aware this could be a team of people, not just one person. SOFT SKILLS ARE VERY IMPORTANT they will need to work with Engineering Team, C-Suite, and business stakeholders to do some discovery, make recommendations, build some consensus and buy in. IT org has strong feelings on how to set this up, leadership has strong feelings, we need someone to lead us. This is a very urgent and highly visible need, the Heads of People and Engineering are leading this initiative.
