Job Position :- VSI OpenVMS Oracle Locations :- USA Remote MUST BE US CITIZEN/GC HOLDER Duration :- Long Term Job Description:- MUST BE US CITIZEN/GC HOLDER Experience with VSI OpenVMS Be able to identify OpenVMS issues relating to Oracle RDB such as performance, logicals, batch jobs, file protections-Be familiar with user identifiers and the Authorize utility Experience with Oracle RDB, Able to perform RDB database backups and restores-Use RMU/ANALYZE to identify fragmentated records, bad indexes, etc Use RMU/EXTRACT to generate DDL as needed Be able to create indexes, add/remove tables and columns-Use RMU/SHOW Statistics to identify performance and locking issues Use RDB tools to identify locks and blockers and remedy those quickly- Understands Oracle SQL/Services and SQL*NET for RDB (Also called OCI Services)- Use RDB debug flags to identify inefficient indexes and problem queries.
