Hybrid Location: Jersey City, NJ Duration: 6+ months Responsibilities: Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performance applications Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic Implementation of security and data protection Integration of data storage solutions Must Have: Experience in Python, with knowledge of one or more Python framework (Django, Flask, Kivy, PyQt, PyGUI, libavg, wxPython) Familiarity with some ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries Experience administering application servers, web servers, and databases (Tomcat, Websphere, Nginx, Microsoft IIS, Oracle, MySQL, etc.) Understanding of the threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architecture Good understanding of server-side templating l anguages (Jinja 2, Mako, etc) Basic understanding of f ront-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3) Understanding of accessibility and security compliance Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application Familiarity with event-driven programming in Python Experience developing integration using product APIs.
