Citizenship: Must be able to convert without sponsorship Must pass a background check Our globally seated client is looking for a RPA Developer to support their busy team. This is a remote, contract role to support their architecture and build with an immediate need. JOB REQUIREMENTS 2-3 years experience on a software delivery team, with a focus on low-code/no-code platforms (required). Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI (preferred). Experience with designing and implementing complex solutions using the Power Platform (preferred). Experience with integrating the Power Platform with other systems and applications (preferred). Strong organization and time management skills (required). Experience with Agile development methodologies (preferred). Self-disciplined to work in a virtual, agile, globally sourced team (required). Prior public accounting experience with mid to large size firm(s) or other professional services experience (preferred). EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's Degree (preference given to Business or Technology or Accounting major). Relevant Microsoft Certifications including Microsoft PL900, PL100, PL200 or equivalent experience. The RPA Developer assists in Service Delivery Automation, Data Analysis & Visualizations, Rapid Application Development, and Engagement Support Services. To execute their area of responsibility, this role collaborates with staff, product teams, IT, other functional areas within the broader RSM firm, and field offices to ensure we achieve the vision cohesively and effectively. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success on a high-performance team, strong data analytics capabilities, a continuous improvement mindset, and a deep passion for the digital transformational journey. Essential Job Duties: Experience working on DevOps and Release Management and CI/CD frameworks Proficiency in Python frameworks, libraries, server-side languages, version control tools, and core fundamentals of programming in Python. Knowledge of front-end technologies, AI, and ML. Experience with XML and JSON, and SQL Understanding of software development best practices, including agile methodologies and version control systems. Experience in Python, with knowledge of one or more Python framework (Django, Flask, Kivy, PyQt, PyGUI, libavg, wxPython) Familiarity with some ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries Experience administering application servers, web servers, and databases (Tomcat, Websphere, Nginx, Microsoft IIS, Oracle, MySQL, etc.) Understanding of the threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architecture Good understanding of server-side templating languages (Jinja 2, Mako, etc) Basic understanding of front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3) Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application Familiarity with event-driven programming in Python Experience developing integration using product APIs. Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes Strong unit test and debugging skills Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git, Mercurial or SVN).
