From: Yogesh Sharma, StellentIT [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Business Systems Analyst Plano, Texas (Hybrid) Phone + Skype Job description: Need to have some kind of background in automobile or manufacturing environment MUST HAVES: Degree formalized business architecture frameworks such as The Business Architecture Guild and or the Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) or other similar framework heavy Business understanding verse Technical (more functional) A Business System Analyst (BSA) will work closely with the Product Owner (PO) to shape the end-to-end product strategy and support cross-factory/-domain dependence management. Their main responsibilities include translating user needs into user stories and acceptance, serving as the day-to-day contact for the team on clarification of requirements and user stories. As a strong decision maker, they will exercise a mandate across the team as a proxy to the PO, staying in sync with the PO on priorities and day-to-day decision making. The BSA will support the PO in collaborating with other factories and leadership to ensure team strategy aligns with overall product vision. Additionally, you will prepare and support the team on product demos and other interactions, ensuring all process software is current and directly updating forms, reports, and databases as necessary. They will also be responsible for ensuring the factory's actions are aligned with the factory goals/vision and building transparency within the factory team while fostering a continuous learning environment to help factories inspect and adapt. The BSA will facilitate agile ceremonies and coordinate the team to continuously conduct the ceremonies, looking for ways to strengthen the factory's understanding of Agile concepts and principles. Their role also includes creating a definition of done for backlog items, tracking requirements and deliverables, and ensuring the product is release-ready and incremental value is created as expected. Finally, the BSA will act as the lead point-of-contact with other factories on the release train to ensure compatibility and remove impediments. They will coordinate with central automation, compliance, and quality control and ensure full compliance in product release. Required Skills/Abilities: Good communication skills. Facilitate and work on different agile activities e.g., Sprint Planning, Sprint Retrospective, Backlog management, Scrum meeting. Experience working with capabilities/business architecture. Strong experience working with business capability models. Roles and Responsibilities: Experience using formalized business architecture frameworks such as The Business Architecture Guild and or the Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) or other similar frameworks - Must Have Mapping with Business capabilities - Must Have Automate the process as much as possible (linkage between, JIRA, Confluence, GitHub, Lucid, Asana/Monday). Provide training materials for DAs and other stakeholders. Help all DAs to keep all Domain artifacts/process consistent. Help remaining Domain baseline creation.
