We have Job opening on Java Cloud Native Lead position. Role: Java Cloud Native Lead position, Duration: Fulltime(Hybrid), Location: Chicago, IL. Job Description: Location Chicago, IL (Hybrid 4 days every week during the first 8 weeks of joining. Post 8 weeks we have 2 days Monday and Wednesday in Office every week ) The candidate must fulfill these requirements on top of technical requirements: (1) MUST come to the office 4 days a week during the first 8 weeks of joining. (2) MUST come to the Chicago office for in-person technical/Managerial round(s). (3) Must be proactive and be able to lead in a multi-location, multiple-vendor setup. Description 8+ years of experience as a Java developer for on-premises based applications utilizing Java 8 or newer versions and the supporting platforms such as Eclipse, Spring boot, code repository (i.e. BitBucket). 5+ years of experience with relational databases (Oracle, Postgres, mySQL). 5+ years of experience using build tools such as Maven. 2+ years of experience with CI/CD concepts and tools such as Jenkins. 2+ years of experience and understanding of cloud computing. 2+ years of experience and understanding of Docker for containerization and its underlying concepts. 2+ years of experience with cloud data warehouse such as Big Query. 2+ years of experience with cloud containerization technology such as GKE. 2+ years of experience with application management tools such as JIRA. 2+ years of experience in microservices development and REST-based architecture. 1+ years of experience with Argo for CI/CD and Workflow orchestration.
