Role: Java Backend Lead Engineer Location: Maryland or Knoxville, TN (Onsite) Duration: Long Term Contract Ex Warner Bros Discovery Preferred 10 to 12 years of professional software development experience in Java based enterprise applications. Proficiency in Java 8/11, with a good understanding of its ecosystems Experience with REST web services incl. microservices Experience with Spring / Springboot Experience with automated build and deployment pipelining with Armory/Spinnaker Experience integrating multiple data sources including Oracle and/or Postgres Experience integrating cloud-based applications via AWS queues/topics Experience implementing API-level security e.g. token-based Experience with Java Unit Testing (such as JUnit) Proficient in Git and GitHub Proficient in log analysis e.g. Splunk Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Engineering, or relevant field Experience in Agile development environment. Understanding of security principles such as authentication, authorization, and encryption. Experience in OTT domain & Rights management system is a plus Responsibilities: Design, Develop & maintain enterprise applications in Java, J2EE, spring boot, postgreSQL Design, Develop and maintain microservices using Java Spring boot, Redis Ensure the application designs conform the business goals.
