Title: Sr ETL Developer # Open: 2 Location: Plymouth Rock 3 month C2H Location Details: MUST work onsite 4 days a week. Office is located across the street from South Station. PTO doesnt count towards the 1 day remote and they offer flex for illnesses. Must be onsite between 9am-3pm, but open to a start between 7am-9am and an end between 3pm-5pm. Duration: 3 months to hire Must Haves: Informatica Powercenter Five Tran, DBT, Snowflake DB2 and SQL on prem Cloud and AWS environment IICS Plus: property and casualty (P&C) insurance industry exp. Day to Day: This team supports the regulatory insurance team and supplies data to state departments like the DMV on how and when they write insurance policies. They also report on losses of data and types of policies written. This data goes into a shared data source, and the company has approximately 2,000 submissions on a yearly basis. All of this is done in ETL. There is a datamart around previous years insurance data that can be audited, analyzed and edited over the previous 3 years. The company has ramifications, and is possibly fined, if the data is late or wrong, and each state has their own rules around these policies and data reporting. These ETL Developers will be responsible for developing and maintaining interfaces. They will also work on new features from an internal or external change such as layout modifications and/or providing more or less data. They will partner closely with the Data Analyst group and the testing team to get these modifications successfully developed and deployed into the environment. The environment is on prem as of today and is hosted in their data center. The 5 year goal is to migrate these platforms and data to the cloud. The current environment is DB2 and SQL on prem, moving to AWS in the future so knowledge of current and new technologies is key. They are on Powercenter, moving to IICS in 2 yrs.
