Title: Lead IBM Sterling OMS (Order Management Systems) Technical Consultant Location: Remote role (USA) Duration: 12 Months Contract Key Skills: Minimum 12+ years of experience consultant needed for this Project. Minimum 4+ years of experience as Lead work experience. 5+ years of hands-on experience in Solution/technical architecture. Strong knowledge in applying microservice architectural patterns to build highly scalable, resilient, secure, cloud native applications. Sound Knowledge of Cloud Platforms and suitable services (Azure, AWS, GCP or similar) Experience in building secure applications using IAM, data encryption and access policy techniques. Experience with Messaging and Stream platforms (ActiveMQ, Kafka or similar). Experience in open-source microservice frameworks (Spring Suite, Apache Suite) Experience in data design, implantation with persistence choice (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). Experience in applying different caching strategy by using distributed cache (Redis, HazelCast), Experience in search and query techniques (Elasticsearch, Lucene, Atlas Search, GraphQL) Experience in CI/CD with containerization (Docker) and container orchestration (K8s). Experience in building application to handling workloads in batch/scheduled use cases. Experience in site reliability aspects with observability (Logs, Metrics, Trace) & tools (ELK, Grafana). Experience in application integration patterns and frameworks (Apache Camel, Spring Integration). Experience in performing load test, metrics analysis and providing recommendations (JMeter usage). Experience with source code version control systems (GitHub, SVN, Bitbucket) Experience in more than one programming language is an advantage (Java/Python/NodeJS). Experience in Retail/Supply chain domain with IBM Sterling Order, Inventory data formats. Contribution to Open-Source community (a good GitHub profile will be an advantage) Experience with data analytics will be an added advantage.Job Description: Responsible for interact with customers, business analysts, product managers, architects, QA, DevOps for requirement gathering, backlog grooming and prioritization. Responsible for developing and presenting complete set of architectural views using at least one of the commonly-used methods, notations and tools. Responsible to lead a self-sufficient Agile SCRUM/POD team Responsible to work with a cross-functional team of architects and analysts within the business, application/systems, data/information and technical architecture disciplines. Responsible for applying patterns to decompose monolithic application or business requirements into building high performing, resilient, scalable and secure application/microservices. Responsible for applying microservice best practice while design and defining contracts and integration (DDD, Bounded context, CQRS, Event sourcing, Polyglot persistence, Event driven data management, etc). Responsible for defining CI/CD pipeline and choosing monitoring tools for application/services. Responsible to build Product Engineering culture with in the team. Improve teams lead/cycle time and velocity by innovation and higher order automation. P.
