Proven deep understanding of Greenplum technology, knowledge of Linux as Greenplum runs on Linux, and general operational expertise such as good troubleshooting skills, understanding of systems capacity, and networks, etc. Requires high level of technical expertise related to studying and analyzing IT system requirements for data base structures. Ongoing responsibility on a 24 X 7 basis for maintenance of database environments to include on-call duty rotation.
