Please find the below job description and if you are interested, please forward your resume to [email protected] Role: Database Developer/Architect - MongoDB Migration Specialist Location: Remote Duration: Long Term Key Responsibilities: Lead the migration of multiple on-premise MongoDB databases to MongoDB on Azure or the MongoDB API on CosmosDB, as part of a larger PCF app migration project. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand database requirements and ensure successful integration with Azure services. Design and implement migration strategies that minimize downtime and maintain data integrity. Optimize database performance, scalability, and security in the cloud environment. Develop and maintain detailed documentation of the migration process, database architectures, and post-migration operations. Provide technical guidance and support to development teams, including best practices for database management and operations in Azure. Troubleshoot and resolve migration-related issues, ensuring stability and efficiency of the database systems post-migration. Oversee the migration process, including data integrity verification, test database creation, migration anomalies identification, and resolution. Preferred Skills: Experience with PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry) applications and their migration to Azure. Familiarity with other database technologies and cloud services.
