Duration: 6+month Interviews: Video NOTE: This is a vulnerability remediation project that their InfoSec Shared services group has identified. They need to bring this group up to NIST cybersecurity standards to better protect their networks and data. TOP QUALIFICATIONS Experience with respect to control frameworks or vulnerability remediation projects (or security related projects). NIST. Strong leadership abilities to inspire and motivate project teams, resolve conflicts, and drive collaboration towards common goals. Excellent communication and organization skills Seasoned PM with at least 8+ years experience **Open to any industry. Familiarity with Agile a bonus, but not required (priority given to experience as a strong PM above Agile) The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of control framework and vulnerability remediation projects for the organization. This person will be the daily boots on ground, managing individual work streams, aligning scope and objectives and responsible for remediating gaps. Core PM Responsibilities: Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans outlining the scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and budget requirements. Team Management: Build and lead project teams, assign tasks, and ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members. Resource Allocation: Allocate resources efficiently to ensure project tasks are completed on time and within budget. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively throughout the project lifecycle. Quality Assurance: Monitor project progress and deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and fulfill project requirements. Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to provide updates on project status, address concerns, and manage expectations. Budget Management: Monitor project expenses, track spending against budget allocations, and make adjustments as necessary to maintain financial targets. Change Management: Handle changes to project scope, requirements, or timelines effectively, while minimizing disruptions to project progress. Problem Solving: Address challenges and obstacles that arise during project execution, leveraging problem-solving skills and expertise to find solutions. Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and other relevant records.
