Experience must demonstrate knowledge of cloud database services, cloud storage solutions, and cloud migration strategies. Documented extensive experience in multiple database migrations, preferably some experience moving databases to the cloud. Documented experience in consolidating and centralizing databases, ideally in a large-scale environment. This includes planning, executing, and overseeing the centralization process. Expertise in designing and implementing backup strategies and disaster recovery plans in a cloud environment. Documented experience tuning database for performance by optimizing queries, indexing strategies, and server configurations. Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages for database tasks. Documented experience with tools like PowerShell, Bash, or Python. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, and experience in implementing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) Practices.
