Description: Under general supervision, the IT Software Developer will participate in or lead the design, coding, testing, and delivery of software solutions that are consistent with AEP Energy standards and practices. The developer must function as a member of a team and participate in all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC). Must have advanced proficiency in C# development and SQL. Experience with Excel/VBA, AWS/Lambdas/Redshift, TFS/Github, PowerApps, SSRS and REACT javascript are pluses. Essential Job Functions are listed below: 1. Design, develop and/or modify code according to AEP standards and practices. 2. Identify and remove software defects. 3. Give direction and work with team members. 4. Provide solution ideas and direction. 5. Use software testing tools to assure the creation of software having the fewest defects. 6. Participate in code reviews. 7.
