Dear All Remote Job Description: We are currently seeking a highly skilled Qlik Replicate Administrator to provide exceptional support to our corporate data platforms team. The Qlik Administrator will join a team of professionals and must possess a strong drive, meticulous attention to detail, a collaborative work style, and a passion for simplifying complex problems. As the Qlik Administrator, your primary responsibilities will revolve around ensuring the stability, performance, and security of Qlik Replicate instances, while also supporting replication task development, optimization and audits. Key Responsibilities: - Installing, deploying tasks, and conducting code reviews for Qlik Replicate. - Administering and maintaining existing Qlik Replicate solutions. - Troubleshooting and monitoring the performance of the Qlik Replicate server and tasks. - Designing and developing comprehensive integration solutions for various business lines. - Assisting internal and external auditors with their requirements. - Working on Qlik Replicate migrations and upgrades as necessary. - Implementing and managing robust security measures to protect sensitive data. - Collaborating with other IT departments to design and implement efficient database schemas and address performance issues in existing code. - Evaluating and adjusting current development and deployment strategies for accuracy and effectiveness. - Supporting the development, deployment, and migration efforts of Qlik Replicate solutions in collaboration with other developers. - Participating in on-call support as required. Education and Experience: - Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems. - A minimum of 5 years of experience in database replication, management, optimization, performance monitoring, and integrations. - At least 2 years of experience in Qlik Replicate administration. - Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems. - Experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, etc. - Familiarity with cloud-based data warehousing solutions and data stores such as Snowflake, Event Hub, ADLS, Databricks, Delta lake, etc. would be advantageous. - Experience in Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), including the use of native monitoring and troubleshooting tools, as well as recommended third-party tools if required. - Knowledge of ETL administration and development is a plus. - Strong ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
