Role :: PCB Layout Design Consultant(hydromechanical actuation design solutions)

Location :: North Berwick, ME, 03906(onsite)

Type :: Contract

Sr System Engineer As our Sr System Engineer, you will develop electromechanical and hydromechanical actuation design solutions for commercial and defense related aircraft flight control and utility actuation applications You will establish and manage requirements database aspects for critical aircraft actuation systems that include DO 178 and DO 254 certified software and electronics and support the development process through all phases from proposals to certification completion You will also develop system architectures for integrated actuation sub systems, and generate associated schematics, diagrams, and descriptions to support contracted programs and new business proposals

Your Challenge:

Work within product development teams to support equipment mechanical and electronic design and development from initial proposal through qualification phase.

Develop and maintain system requirements database using IBM DOORS based on customer specifications for critical systems including certified software based flight control and utility actuation applications

Perform all aspects of requirements management including requirements capture, analysis, validation, allocation, traceability, and verification

Allocate system requirements to system components and generate lower tier component design and development specifications

Develop system architecture definition based on required system functionality and performance

What You Bring:

Must be a US Citizen

Bachelors degree in engineering, Computer Science or related field

6 years of experienceUnderstanding of system engineering principals and methodology

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Experience with Matlab/Simulink simulation modeling environment

Experience with MS (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
