Skills Requirements: FOUNDATION FOR SUCCESS(Basic Qualifications) Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field. Master's or Doctorate degree may substitute for required experience. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. Contract requirement. Proven experience with data acquisition or replication. FACTORS TO HELP YOU SHINE(Required Skills) These skills will help you succeed in this position: Demonstrated experience in log-based Replication technology to replicate data between different DBMS and platforms. Demonstrated Experience in replicating data from DB2 z/OS, PostgreSQL, or Oracle. Experience in the installation, configuration, upgrades, and day to day operation of replication technology. Experience in the data transformation efforts from legacy to new and alternative technologies. Hands on experience working on Linux environment and strong scripting experience in shell scripting. Experience in acquiring and replicating data from various legacy and distributed databases including flat file replication. Experience in automating replication tasks and processes using batch or bash scripting. Provide 24x7 on-call rotation and weekend work as needed. Excellent Communication skills. Strong understanding of source control systems. HOW TO STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD (Desired Skills) Showcase your knowledge of modern development through the following experience or skills: Experience with IBM InfoSphere Data Replication (IIDR) CDC replication technologies. Working with Git and Bitbucket for source control. Strong experience with Python. Experience working with DB2 mainframe database. Experience working with PostgreSQL database and logical replication. Experience with IBM InfoSphere Data Replication (IIDR) CDC replication technologies. Experience with ETL tools and understanding ETL functionality. Working knowledge of Ansible and Ansible best practices. AWS hands-on experience. Experience administering cloud solutions. Experience working on Agile projects and understanding Agile terminology Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field with 3+ years of experience Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
