Responsible for making software configuration changes to support business processes. Responsible for technical development for approved projects and enhancements. Responsible for the functional and technical testing of the application (development and configuration) and the support of these applications when moved to production. Adhere to departmental quality assurance and quality control standards during testing and implementation activities. Consider data sensitivity and process control to determine security and user authorization impacts. Works with manager and with corporate auditing to ensure that access to systems and data are authorized only to the proper people. Analyze production issues as necessary to determine the cause of the issue and determine the necessary course of action for resolution. Create and deliver user documentation as necessary to ensure proper use of changed and newly implemented efforts. Consider business processes and system interaction when creating this documentation. Determine proper delivery method for this communication: e.g. formal training, distribution of soft copy document, etc. Qualifications Work Experience: 6 - 9 years of IT work experience in systems/application development and support of PeopleSoft/ Payroll functions,v9.2, PeopleTools 8.58 or higher. Multiple years of experience in PeopleSoft (PIA) Administration desired to perform multiple installations, upgrades, performance tuning, and troubleshooting the infrastructure components required to establish and maintain the PeopleSoft PIA Architecture. Required Skills: Extensive experience setting up and supporting PeopleSoft/ HCM & Payroll functions Solid experience in the following: SQL, Query Tool, BI Publisher, PeopleCode, App Engine and PeopleTools 8.58 Extensively worked on PeopleSoft Security - create and maintain User Profiles, Roles, Permission Lists, Components, Trees, Queries and BI publisher. Setup, configure and maintain Integration Broker gateway, services, service operations, queues, routings and application messages for internal and external integrations. Quick learner flexible and open to learn new technologies Customer centricity and go getter attitude Strong Microsoft Office Suite experience Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong analytical skills, with a consultative approach. Team player, with the ability to own and drive toward solutions.
